Item Description: I was going to hunt with this one this year but I’m always looking at this site and I have found something else , included is 2 new boxes of 140 grain soft points , I have about 5 rounds of ammo I used to zero , this gun shoots very well , it obviously is a sporterized Mauser I think some folks call it a small ring Mauser , it’s very basic rifle the trigger has not been modified and takes some getting used to but it’s very predictable, scope is a tasco world class 3x9 , rifle is in very good condition. It’s not rusted or pitted. This is not a 8mm Mauser it’s a 7x57 the safety has been changed to not be blocked by scope , the only marking I see is an I in front of serial number , only thing I found on inet it was for infantry which is a German marking , I believe this is a German m95 , anybody know ?
