Item Name: Item Gone: FS Mossberg bolt action .410
Location: Hwy 369 at Hwy 306
Zip Code: 30506
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: 225
Caliber: 410
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Mossberg model 173B single shot bolt action shotgun. 410 caliber (the barrel stamp says 410 gauge, 3 inch).
22" barrel with no markings regarding choke.
It's got a blue finish in good condition and a wooden stock plastic butt plate and trigger guard and the trigger guard extends downward to provide finger grooves for the stock as well. Just like many of Mosberg's .22 rimfire rifles (in fact this is what the gun looks like at first glance --a .22 boys rifle.)
The safety works but the little green dot / peg to show the safety is engaged has fallen out. As of a few years ago you could buy more of those little plastic pegs for a couple bucks each the red peg is still there.
This gun dates to the 1950s when my neighbor's father bought it for his son but the son showed no interest in ever using it.
It does not have any serial number-- they weren't required on domestic long guns before 1968.
TERMS: $225 cash, local face-to-face with another Georgia resident.
LOCATION: Between Cumming and Gainesville. Could also meet up hwy 400 in Dawsonville or down 400 in Alpharetta.
