Allows for use of head-mounted gear, like night vision optics. I bought it because I originally planned on getting into night vision. I am the original owner. It was purchased brand new from Georgia Firing Line in Marietta, GA. Still has the original box and all the original contents. Size is L/XL. Adjustable chin strap.
