I am selling my John Deere 318. I wanted one of these for many years due to it's cult following and everything I've ever heard about them. I finally bought one about 4 years ago. It is an absolute beast and has handled everything I've ever thrown at it. I'm ready to move up to 1025r as I need a backhoe for some work I'd like to get done at the house.
I asked GROK "best lawn tractor John Deere ever made"...I've included a screenshot of GROK's response in the photos. I didn't prompt it in any way, just asked the question and it said the John Deere 318.
I take very good care of my stuff and keep this tractor stored indoors and wax and polish it (it shows). It has 525 hours on it. It's a used tractor, but in great shape.
Hydraulics work great and Lawn mower deck is in great shape. Lawn mower deck is also controlled by hydraulics. This really is such a nice machine. I'll definitely be sad to see it go, but need to move up to the 1025r.
