Item Description: Selling my Dad's Rem .270 BDL. He bought this in about 1974 when he gave me his .243. The serial number bears out that time frame. I haven't fired it in 10 years. Though sentimental to me, I'd rather somebody get good use out of it. It's got a surprisingly clear Leupold Vari-X II 2-7. I think the objective lens is 28mm. There is a large chip in the wood and the butt pad that I had forgotten about. I'll blame my son but it was probably me. To make up for it, I have the original owner's manual. What's notable about a 1974 Owner's Manual, it isn't loaded with a bunch of lawyer's warnings and disclaimers! "Caution: Firearms may be hazardous to a person's health." I hope some lawyers are reading this...

It's a great rifle. Again, I'd like someone to get some good use out of it.

Also will be posting a Rem 700 ADL .243 with Weaver 4X fixed, and a Weatherby Mark V Synthetic 300 Wby. Mag.
