Item Description: Robalo R190 Center Console Fishing Boat

This is an excellent center console boat that I have owned for the past three years. I bought the boat from an individual in Calhoun Georgia who used it at the lake. Since I've had it it's been to lakes all over north Georgia including Oconee,Hartwell,Lanier, and Clarks Hill. It's an excellent boat for striper fishing and crappie fishing and that's what I've primarily used it for. It has an Evinrude 150 HP V6 that runs great and has good compression in all cylinders. It fires up on the first turn and has never given me an issue. On the front is a 24 volt Minn Kota trolling motor with a remote. It does have spot lock and that makes staying over a spot (bubble lines) much easier than fighting with a foot pedal and fishing rod. There are two 12 volt batteries under the front storage compartment that are hooked up to a two bank charger. At the helm there's a Garmin GPS/Fish Finder. Both the minn Kota trolling motor and Garmin are included with the boat.

Overall the boat is 19 feet long and heavy! I've been caught in several storms on the lake and I've never felt uncomfortable with the deep v hull. I've always wanted to take this boat to the gulf coast but I've never had time.

There are two storage compartments on the bow, one underneath the center console seat, and another behind the back rest of the center console. In the rear is a large fish box that drains and fills itself while the boat is running at speed.

I've recently changed the shift cables (2 months ago) so shifting and power delivery is smooth. Cruising speed for this boat is around 32 MPH and with one person in the boat with minimal gear I've had the boat up to 42MPH.

This an excellent boat and has served me well over the past few years. I wouldn't hesitate to put this boat in anywhere. Why spend 35k on a new center console when this boat is just as capable and fishable as a new Robalo.

As I've said this is a great boat, but with every boat there will be issues. First off this boat is older and is not cosmetically appealing. The previous owner painted it a Ford blue and it's beginning to show its age. There are multiple scratches in the paint but nothing deep. The floor was also repainted but I have no idea what he used. It's not slippery, just ugly and hard to clean to a bright white. When I got the boat the wiring was in a mess. For that reason it does not have a tachometer nor a fuel gauge, which brings me to the final issue. The previous owner replaced the 60 gallon fuel tank with a... 15 gallon tank. Brilliant right? However this isn't all bad. As you can see in the pictures I've added two external fuel tanks (12 and 18) so the total capacity is 45 gallons and that's plenty for a whole weekend on the lake. Switching between tanks is easy and happens with the turn of a knob.

This is the most upfront and honest review of a boat you'll find. I'm not in a huge hurry to sell the boat but I am buying a house and need the cash for a down payment, otherwise I'd keep the boat and head out this weekend to Clarks Hill to catch some striper. If you're seriously interested in the boat let me know and we can meet. I also have a video on YouTube of a cold start up of the boat and walk around. If you'd like to see it send me an email and I'll send you the link. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for looking.
