Item Description: I have this Ruger American Gen 2 in .243 WIN that I have shot 8 times. It is in perfect like-new condition WITH BOX AND MANUAL. Fluted 20″ barrel with a muzzle brake that is threaded 5/8×24. Comes with a detachable mag and a picatinny scope base. The stock is grey with a black spider web pattern. Built in cheek rest. Grey cerakote barrel. Light at 6.3lbs. 3-pos thumb safety. Adjustable trigger and smooth bolt. Very ergonomic gun.
I bought this gun based on features and weight – it met all the specs I was looking for in a lightweight medium caliber deer or pig rifle and it patterns well. I am a Savage guy and recently got a smoking deal on a Savage with similar specs, so I am replacing this one.
It retails for $600+ new – I paid $656 with tax. No trades.
