Item Description: Its a blue steel with brass trigger guard circa 1971-72 early "second issue" Bearcat per the serial number. No caliber marking on barrel, no SR within logo, owner's manual printed as bearcat (super was added in later printings/shipments), it is in original form (ie no safety upgrade to transfer bar system), cylinder shows slight turning marks, small chip out of one grip base, no rust or pitting, it has been fired. Overall the weapon is in very good condition. Price is based on hands off appraisal from a Ruger owners society representative setting value as $450-500, using photos I took of the gun yesterday. This is another weapon I'm selling for a widow who wants it out of the house and could use the money. NOTE: sale is restricted to those having a current valid pistol permit or a background clearance no older than 30days.
