Item Description: SIG P229 in .40 S&W. It was a DAK pistol that may have been a police trade-in unit. Converted to DA/SA and installed the SIG SRT (Short Reset Trigger unit - sear and safety), which cuts the single action trigger reset by over half the distance. For a police trade-in it looks like it was babied - carried alot but seldom shot. Bore is in excellent condition. Stock 2-piece grips were replaced by E2 grips, which includes the E2 hammer spring, strut and mount. Has factory SIG night sights - not super bright but they still glow. Will come with one 12rd magazine.
