Item Description: Up for sale is a Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 10 / Military & Police .38 Special Revolver. I'm selling for a friend and was told that this is a 5 Screw K-Frame. It has a 6 shot cylinder and a 4" barrel. The serial number (S865XXX) is an S series which should put the production date somewhere between 1945-1948. Serial numbers match on the frame, cylinder, and barrel. The gun is in great condition. A soft case is included.
