This 438 was carried just a few times before it received a light misting of CLP and went in the safe. I got a 638 around the same time and decided to edc it instead. I have all original box, paperwork, cable lock, and keys with this gun as if you were to buy it brand new. Cylinder spins smooth like butter and locks up tight. Bore is shiny and clean. Hammer snaps very strong.
This is a great carry gun with a shrouded hammer, allowing you to stage the trigger for accuracy without worrying about a claw hammer snagging your garment. As far as I can tell, these are very hard to come by. I had trouble finding something similar that was available to match the price. The gun is a lot sturdier, with a more comfortable grip, than smith’s current bodyguard offering. If you’re able to find a comparable listing, send it my way and I’ll entertain reasonable offers.
