I'm not a turkey hunter. I purchased this Beretta A300 Ultima Turkey 12 gauge shotgun for dove hunting. I used it opening weekend, and shot maybe 15 shells through it. I cleaned it inside and out with Ballistol, slid it in a silicone gun sock, and put it in my gunsafe. It's just been sitting. Time to move it on.
The reason I stopped using it was that I found the exact same gun in 20 gauge, used, on this trader forum and bought it. It kicks a lot less than the 12 gauge version.
As you can see, the gun is in Realtree camo. The gun will come in the factory original box with everything it came with, that includes T-handle choke tube wrench, and spacers to adjust the length of pull. It came from the factory with 2 choke tubes, a flush-mount modified and an extended Turkey choke. Also came with a Picatinny rail in case you want to mount a red dot or optic for turkey hunting. Would work with slugs for deer or bear, too. It has a 24 inch vent rib barrel with a factory 4mm red fiber optic front sight. It has a 3 inch chamber. The gun has an overall 3+1 capacity, but being made in the USA, comes with the federal migratory bird plug installed, so a capacity of 2+1 right now. Uses Benelli/Beretta Mobil choke tubes. When I ordered this gun new, I also purchased 3 Carlson, stainless steel, extended, sporting clays choke tubes, in skeet, improved cylinder, and modified. ($150 for all 3) It has an oversized ejection port, oversized bolt handle, oversized bolt release button, oversized loading port, and smoothed edge, rounded-corners carrier so it doesn't catch your thumb when pushing a round in the magazine tube. Easily used with gloves on. The Kick Off system is an internal chassis inside the hollow stock that has recoil springs. The buttpad is mounted to a plate attached to the springs, so it moves independently of the gun, softened by the recoil springs.
This gun is in "as new" condition and ready to go to a new home with younger bones!
Would also work for all types of bird hunting; quail, chukkar, grouse, woodcock, snipe, pheasant, ducks, geese, sandhill cranes, etc.
The MSRP on this gun is $1,079. I will let it all go with all factory accessories and including the 3 Carlson choke tubes for $650 cash FIRM in a face to face transaction in Blue Ridge, Ga ONLY. For pick up in Blue Ridge only. Will not travel to deliver. Will not ship. For sale only. I don't need any trades.
