Item Description: For sale is super clean Remington model 700 VLS Stainless 22-250 with Thumbhole stock and 26” heavy barrel. This was obtained from a family member that mainly collects guns. I have replaced only the scope that was on the rifle when I got it with a new Vortex Crossfire II 4X12-44. It has the cloth cover as well as the lens caps. I also added vortex medium mount 1" rings and weaver mounts.
The rest of the gun remains stock. Also confirmed the trigger is not part of the XMP recall.It comes with 10 boxes of 55gr 22-250 Ammo. (200 rounds), and a Woodstream 2-gun hunter satchel.
I am not familiar with shooting 22-250, but read up quite a bit to find a recommended power scope based on trajectory.
I cannot state that the rifle has never been fired outside of the factory, but it has had a clean barrel since the first time I cleaned. I can find no marks or scuffs anywhere on the rifle.
Why am I selling? I always pull out the pistols from the safe when I go shooting, and I am not a hunter. Nor can I take out varmints living within city limits.
Not interested in trades. I am starting to downsize getting rid of things I do not use.
