Item Description: SPM SPM JC Higgins Model 1011, Christmas present to me at 9 or 10 yo in mid 1960s. LOP 12”, LOA 40”, barrel 26”, 3” chamber. In very nice condition with a very slight bit of surface rust in a few tiny areas on barrel which would probably rub out with oil. Receiver looks like it has some damascus going on. Wood is very good. This is a very nice starter shotgun for a young boy or girl. Meet in Marietta at a Quick Trip near I75 any LATE AFTERNOON, 2:00 to 6:00 no later. I will not drive anywhere or get up early to sell a $90 shotgun, nor trade for hub caps or other junk. I hope you have a kid who will be as proud as I was to get this for Christmas. If so, I apologize. I have so many messages on this I can’t keep up with them. this is the third time I have had to list it for various reasons and I guess I promised too many people I would let them know.

I listed this at a very low price in the hope somebody with a kid or grandkid would buy it as a Christmas present, which is how I got it. I have been inundated with messages which I suspect many are from traders wanting to flip it to make a few bucks. Which is fine, perfectly alright, but I guess you might as well price things at full value rather than try to give somebody a good deal so a kid gets a nice present.
