Item Description: I unfortunately had to purchase my own vest in my previous career as a Deputy Sheriff...This one I never wore but did use the carrier. It comes with a new carrier and straps. Date of Manufacture is 06/2011 with a 5 year Warranty. NOW, based on my understanding of Kevlar; since I never wore the vest the fibers should still be tight and would have the same ballistic protection as it would have on day 1 of service. Its a Medium/Large size as it fits me and im 5'10 170 pounds
