Zip Code: 30518
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: 1
Caliber: 357Mag
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: I have owned these 3 revolvers since 2014. All are 686-4 with forged triggers, forged hammers and hammer mounted firing pins. Not really looking for trades on guns either. I am needing to thin out my collection.
The 4” is new in box, I was told it was never fired outside the factory. I have no reason not to believe it because it looks brand new. This one comes with the original box that is in perfect shape. The plastic latches that normally break are not broken. I called S&W on this one, it was manufactured in 1997. SOLD.
The 5” started life as a 6” 6 shooter. A pharmacist around Atlanta that had a little gun smith shop in the back, fitted a 5” barrel to it. He also completed a trigger job, and fitted a 7 round cylinder on it. It has hi-viz sights as well. I have fired this gun maybe 20 rounds. It is the best balanced, most accurate revolver I’ve ever had. The 5” barrel is perfect in my opinion. $1100
Last but not least is the 6” version. I have never fired it. It appears to be fired very little. $1000
All three revolvers are as close to perfect as you can get. No hidden surprises here. They have been taken care of and stored properly since new.
