Item Description: Here’s a great Christmas present or a starter rifle for someone wanting to get into muzzleloading!
Up for sale is a nice Hawken rifle. It’s a Spanish made Traditions brand Woodsman Hawken. The gentleman I got if from bought it in the late 90s. It’s .50 caliber with a 28 inch 1:48 twist octagon barrel. He shot and hunted with and is still in very good condition. The nipple, hammer and lock plate show normal ignition burn from caps firing. The bore shows use, but has sharp lands. The set trigger works great! It’s a nice shooter. The brass fittings have darkened to a nice antique look. The hardwood stock is beautiful. All screws are perfect, except for the nipple clean out screw, which is to be expected with a shooter. Perfect for primitive hunting.
New, these guns sell for over $400. My Christmas price is now reduced to only $125! Will meet at the Bass Pro Shop parking lot in Lawrenceville.
