Item Description: Unique model 52. Willing to come down on price if you come to me (I live close to Cumberland Mall now). I work 9-5:30 mon-fri, but I can meet during lunch or in the evening.
This is a sweet shooter. Surprisingly accurate.
I've probably put 200 rounds through it in the time I've had it, can't remember a single jam.
It's close to 6 inches in length, 5 inches in height. Grip angle is more vertical than 1911.
It melts in your hand, maybe not as comfortable as a Beretta though. The serrations on the palm swell give you a serious grip on the handle. This thing is solid steel.
I like the placement of the safety, but slide stop/last round hold open is redundant. THe magazine follower acts as the last round hold open and the safety doubles as a slide lock. It doesn't really bother me, especially because I only own one magazine, but i would feel like i was being dishonest if i didnt point it out.
10 round magazine, but can fit 11 maybe 12 rounds. Heel mag release.
Super easy to rack. I can rack it with two fingers. Initially, I thought the easy racking was a sign of weak hammer spring and therefore light primer strikes, but its been totally reliable. FYI I've only ever shot it with standard velocity CCI.
Single action only. Super light trigger pull. In fact, it's almost too light in my book. I don't have a scale, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were less than 2 lbs.
This one is a shooter. It's got some rust on the magazine. Not sure I would say the gun is rusted though. I would describe it as "good" condition. Look closely at the pictures.
This gun has a magazine disconnect safety, which is surprising given its age. I think it was made in the early to mid 50s.
Thanks for looking. Let me know if you've got questions.
If you're interested, don't comment on the post asking "is it still for sale?" Send me a message.
