Item Description: My wife wants it out of the yard. Now $250!
Up for sale is a vintage 13 foot aluminum canoe style boat. Canoe bow with a flat transom for mounting a motor. Not sure if the age, but was told it was used at the crossing of the Delaware to carry George’s luggage. Bought it years ago off ODT for my sons to paddle around on local lakes. Been in storage for past 8+ years. Wife wants the space and children don’t have room in their apartments or dorm rooms.
It’s approximately 13 feet long, 36 inches wide and 13 inches high. No visible maker marks. Was told that it is likely made from late 50s to the 60s.
Was painted camouflage by a prior owner, which is peeling a bit in spots. But, the aluminum is not affected and it does not leak. Stable in the water. Only flipped once, and that’s because two sons decided to stand up and fight each other. The transom has a plywood covering. It shows some deterioration, but the aluminum stern behind it is solid and does not leak.
The price is now only $250, to be picked up in Lawrenceville, about 3 miles from Bass Pro Shop. Bring your truck and we’ll help load it! If you don’t like the price, don’t be shy - -Reasonable offers considered!
