Item Description: SOUTH GATE CALIF MADE IN JAPAN. I received this rifle from a promotion from buying a piece of equipment in approximately 1980. It has been fire 5 times from my porch. Never been farther from inside the house. First shot at 100 paces, one gallon judge of water (missed). I think it moved!. 2nd shot the judge exploded think the air force dropped a bomb on it. 3rd shot killed deer at 100 yds. from back porch. 4th shot from front porch killed deer at 200 yds. 5th shot kill wild dog
chasing deer at 150 yds (lucky shot). This rifle is no longer available. I opted for a 30.06 in this rifle because you can use any 30.06 ammo not just Weatherby ammo.
