Chambered in 5.56/.223 Compass Lake Spec. with Matched Bolt with a 20", 1:8, 416R stainless steel, fluted, matte finished barrel, the VEX-SS weighs in at 8.8 lbs, making lighter than most "varmint" set ups. The rifle also includes a skeleton stock, knurled and vented aluminum free-float handguard, and Hogue grip. The WW VEX-SS is ready for your optics or iron sights with a Picatinny rail gas block.
