Item Description: I have 79 rounds of 7.62x51 in brass FMJ that I need to trade for some .308 rounds. I bought this ammo and fired one round through my savage custom built rifle thinking that it would be fine which it was except when I went to pull the round out of the chamber. My rifle is chambered in .308 win and is so tight on the tolerances that it does not like the NATO round. So... Im stuck with trying to trade with someone who has some .308 win rounds. I will make it worth your while because I will trade for 60 .308 win rounds for the 79 rounds of 7.62x51. The stamp suggest a south african origin but all I know is the rounds are in great shape and the one I fired was dead on at 200 yards.
