If you or someone you love wants to have their chimney, cleaned, inspected, or repaired before winter, but don’t have the funds, I am interested in bartering. Shoot me a message and send me some pictures of what you have.
Even if you don’t use your Fireplace, there’s a ton of things that can be deteriorating and damaging your chimney that can cost you thousands down the road.
For example, if you don’t have a cap on your chimney, or if the crown of your chimney is cracked, water entering into the flu system of your chimney can wash out mortar joints, making your fireplace unsafe to burn.
The industry cost to replace the liner once this happens ranges from 6500-12000.00
I’ve been out to countless properties over the years, where the fireplace was unused but water was slowly getting in through the top. Had they not had their chimney inspected it could have cost them thousands.
If you have a Chimney, it should be cleaned every 50 to 60 fires or every cord of wood or once a year whatever comes first.
If you haven’t had your chimney cleaned or inspected do it! It’s worth it!
the price is 375.00 which includes a 17 point class 2 inspection.
Repairs can be bartered as well.
Now is the time to do it, in the next month will be booked up 3 to 4 months. So avoid the wait if possible.
