Item Description: I have a very nice, fired 10x Rem 700 CDL SF in 257 Roberts I want to trade for a high quality 6.5 PRC. I have a Fierce 7 PRC and wouldn’t mind another!
My gun has the original box and paperwork, a Timney trigger, and silver Talley bases/rings. No scope.
Also comes with a Bell and Carlson Medalist stock in tan/black web. I do have the original stock also. The original has what’s called “crazing” in it where there are tiny, hairline fractures in the clear coat. Can’t see them from an extended arm length, but you can up close. No chips or anyplace where it’s come off, just the cracks. I spoke to a Remington expert and he’s all too familiar with this on these older stocks.
Gun was a limited edition made only in 2009. The original owner shot it 5 times and I ran some random handloads through it the other day and they were at a .75” group. I already have a custom 700 in 257 Bob or I’d keep it!
Might entertain a 300 PRC, but it would have to be the perfect deal!
