Item Name: Smith & Wesson SW99 .45acp

Location: Roswell/Tucker

Willing to Ship: No

Item is for: Trade or Sell

Trade Value or Items Looking For: Mainly looking for full size metal handguns in 9mm (Hi Power/Cz/Beretta or clones) or a 1911, but I'll hear any offers. I'll sell it outright for $500.

Caliber: .45acp

Item Description: I've got a rarely seen Smith & Wesson SW99 in .45acp. I bought it a couple years back after owning a Walther P99c and loving the AS trigger on it. The SW99 has the same sweet trigger, but with a bigger caliber. Shortly after getting it I upgraded the sights (front night sight & rear U sight) and swapped out the stock plastic guide rod for a custom stainless steel one. It comes with three mags and a custom kydex IWB holster I made for it (it's not pretty, but it works). These guns have a unique SA/DA striker fired trigger with a well integrated decocker that is very easy to shoot well and has a very nice reset. The Smiths unlike the Walthers have a stainless steel slide coated in Melonite with both forward and rear cocking serrations. It has just a little bit of carry wear on the front of the slide, but it shoots great and much softer shooting than you'd think with how light it is (25.5 oz). It makes a great winter carry gun under a light jacket or sweater or even a night stand gun . I just haven't shot it much lately and I want to go from tactical to something more traditional.
