Those are fun rifles to shoot for sure! On the right side of the receiver does it say West Hurley, New York or Worcester, Massachusetts? I take it that the gun case and the red gun lock pictured aren't original to the rifle if it was manufactured in 1975. Is that correct?

This will tell you if it is that old. However, this one looks much newer by the looks of the lock and case it came in.

I'm away from the rifle at the moment, I will post back with the stamping info.... and honestly, I can't say with certainty on the case. The SN is KN12XX which puts it in the original batch, but the case, while it's a thompson case, cannot be sourced to anexact date. Possibly a case purchased recently from auto - ordinance. ...

That's the one I found. It's a 4 digit SN with 12xx so I believe I'm reading the chart correctly. ....buuuut it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. Lol

I could be wrong but if it is a West Hurley build then it may be an early Tommy. If it is a Worcester build then it is likely a recent production Tommy.
