The 12.7x42 (50 Beowulf) caliber is a great short to mid range hunting round for various North American game from wild hogs to Bull Moose. The available bullet weights and knock down power of this round make it especially useful in heavy brush. This rifle has been laser bore sighted at 75 yards. A little dialing in and it's ready for the hunt.
The bolt action style of this rifle allows for the use of standard, non-modified in anyway, AR-15 5.56/.223 magazines. So, no need to buy expensive "big bore" magazines or big bore magazine followers. A standard 30-round 5.56 magazine holds 10 rounds of 12.7x42mm.
Because this rifle is a standard AR-15 lower with bolt action upper, it can easily be converted to any AR-15 semiautomatic caliber by simply installing a complete upper, buffer and buffer spring. Asking price of $575.
