This is a Belgian Fine Twist percussion side-by-side double barrel shotgun. Believed to be for the .74 black powder percussion, with Damascus barrels. The barrels are marked "Fine Twist" and a "03" proof mark. Made in Belgium circa 1830's. This shotgun would have been used for hunting fowl in the mid-19th Century. The overall condition is good, as can be seen in the photos. The metal surfaces are dark with age. The markings are clear and legible. The stock is in good shape. Barrels are 34" long. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Meet & pickup in front parking area at Flowery Branch Police Station, cash only. Thanks.
