Hi Gents,
For Sale is a used but excellent shape 12 Gauge 28" barrel semi auto Beretta A300 Outlander. Weighs right at 7 lbs and shoots very soft recoil.
This is an oiled walnut finish and exceptional wood for an originally $900 shotgun. They don't even put oiled walnut finish on A400's now until you get to the multi target at $3000. The finish on A400's is "enhanced" with some kind of laser pattern and a non oil coating, which cannot be fixed if dinged. A300 (Ultima) guns are now all plastic.
Maybe 400 rounds shot through this A300. It has a gunsmith installed Briley EZ release button, at a cost of $145. This gun has a 4.5 lb trigger. You will generally pay to have a Briley or Coles gunsmith $150-300 for a trigger job to give you a 4.5 lb trigger, like I had done on a Browning and another Beretta by Briley.
This gun uses the Mobil choke system, which are excellent, reasonable, and readily available through AMZ or Carlsons and elsewhere. It comes with 3 factory internal chokes and one extended Carlson IC choke. No box. Comes with shim set. Currently installed is the 55mm shim (2.25 inch drop at the heel).
Not quite sure why I am selling this $1000 irreplaceable gun for $600. Maybe I won't.
No trades, thank you.
Thanks,
Shovel99
