Up for sale is a great Christmas Present!!
It is an amazing full size Boston Bruins’ “Sher-Wood” hockey stick that belonged to hockey legend, Bill Guerin. It is signed by him and 24 other players. It came from an Atlanta area estate of a Boston Bruins fan, got it at a game in the “early 2000s.” We believe it is from the 2001-02 season in that the first signature on the blade appears to be #33 Jeff Norton, who only played for Boston in the 2001-02 season.
It is a “BOSTON BRUINS” stamped Sher-Wood SOP 9950 Iron Carbon stick. “Guerin”is hand stenciled on the spine. It is in excellent condition, with some light scuffing on the bottom edge of the blade.
The autographs are all on one side. From the tip of the blade, the legible signatures APPEAR to be:
33 Jeff Norton. #22 Mikko Eloranta, #72 Pavel Kolarik, #26 Mile Knuble, # 42 P. J. Stock, #6 Gord Murphy, #31 Kay Whitmore, #18 Kyle McLaren, #32 Don Sweeney, #44 Nick Boynton, #13 Bill Guerin, #37 Lee Goren & #17 Rob Zamuner. The rest have either an illegible number, name or both. (Hockey players have the worst signatures)!
