The finish on the metal is worn in some places and pitted in others. It is not pretty at all and would be a good candidate for refinishing or parkerizing. The wood is also worn and could use a stripping and refinishing.
The mechanics of the rifle are butter smooth. It’s been gone through and the gas system has been cleaned and all springs/buffers cleaned and/or replaced. Bore looks really good as well.
