Very rare rifle.
1957-59 BSA Imperial Featherweight, 30.06. Rifle weighs 6.5 pounds without scope and sling. This is one of the most beautiful rifles I've ever had my hands on. It appears to be low round count and diffinently a safe queen. The stock has very few small marks and I would give it a 9+. The chamber and blueing on the rifle is in excellent condition. This rifle has the BESA ports on the muzzle (recoil reduction). The scope and rings on it go with the rifle (average scope). The proper rings for this rifle are Parker Hale RANS-3 and the dovetail fittings on the scope mounts are 19mm. Good luck finding them. They are expensive if can be found. I did research and found out that Warne makes a nice replacement set (IBFM) that with the 19mm dovetail (www.kinneys shooting supply) that sell for $52 plus shipping. Can be ordered online. Meet in canton.
