For sale or Trade is a beautiful 1963 Smith & Wesson Model 15-2, chambered in .38 Special with a 4-inch barrel. This revolver is a fine example of early K-frame craftsmanship, known for its precision, balance, and timeless design. It features original diamond-center Magna grips, numbered to the frame, which remain in excellent condition with crisp checkering and rich color. The bluing is deep and uniform with only very minor signs of handling and use, preserving the revolver's elegant presentation. Mechanically, it functions flawlessly, with a smooth double-action pull and a crisp, clean break in single action—just as you'd expect from a well-maintained vintage Smith. Included is a S&W box (not serialized to the gun and is ~10 years newer), along with the original warranty card and cleaning tools, making this a nearly complete package that collectors and enthusiasts will appreciate.

I'm parting with this beauty as I’m downsizing my collection due to my infant Son.

Must be willing to meet in Athens, GA, as I do not have time in my schedule with my Son to travel. I am happy to ship it if you cannot travel

What you see pictured is what is included with the sale

What a jewel !!!! My 15-3 and 15-4 have their original finish on them, but the era yours was made was a high point (IMHO) of attention to detail. 1963 was the year Carl Hellstrom passed away, and with the advent of Bango Punta's ownership . . well, things weren't quite the same.

Yes the bluing in the early 60s and 50s is truly second to none. Unfortunately profits got in the way of quality and measures were cut. Still had a great product though and honestly still do.
