In pretty good shape for a regularly used 37 year old suv. Vehicle had been very meticulously maintained over its lifetime, which is evident by the fact that everything on it works except the tachometer. The only other issue is that the A/C works only ok. It’ll get very cold, but only if the outside temps are below 75/80. It just can’t keep up with 90+ degree heat and I find driving with the windows down more comfortable. The drivers headlight assembly is cracked and the passenger side marker light is missing. I have replacements for both but just haven’t had time to put them in. Transmission also makes a bit of a noise in 5th gear but it does not seem to affect anything and runs great no matter the gear. Truck sits very comfortably at 55/60mph in 4th gear.
This is honestly a really nice car that has been used but clearly not abused. This is the increasingly rare 2 door variety that was only made for 3 years.
Frame is clean and not eaten with rust like most examples from around this year model. Only rust spots are just behind the driver and passenger doors on the rockers from sunroof vent drainage. Apparently this was a common problem with this model Pathfinder, and this one has the least rust out of the 10 or so I’ve found listings for in the US.
I have several different spare parts for the vehicle, some of which are hard to find nowadays. All parts come with it as well as a Nissan and Hayes manual and all service records since new.
