Item Description: Up for sale is a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 extended cab with 8' bed, tow package, running boards, brand new tires (less than 50 miles on them) 195k miles on truck.
Purchased to haul and make deliveries, but about after 200 miles, transmission went. It now only goes in reverse. Good truck for project or a mechanic. Paint faded on roof and hood, but dash is in great shape. No other issues that I am aware of. Was quoted $1380 for rebuild, and about $700 for used complete transmission. I don't need any longer, as I have a brand new van and two other spare trucks.
