Item Description: 2001 F250 SD 7.3L turbo diesel, quad cab, 8' bed, 4x4, 2nd owner, clean title!!!
This is my dream truck and I am sad to see it go but I am having my 3rd child and money is getting a bit snug so I have to part ways with her.
I bought this truck about 2 years ago from the original owner with 198k on it. Since I have owned it I put it to 238k and some change and will go up slightly since it is my daily driver. I have driven this truck to Montana and back, Pennsylvania and back and some shorter trip also and it has never let me down. These motors are well known and for good reason, in my opinion one of the best diesel motors out there!
I have had the transmission rebuilt at 205k, new Rockstar rims, new tires about 5k ago, new injector cups at 200k, new calipers, rotors, and pads all the way around at 230k, new water pump at 230k, new high pressure oil pump at 210k, new serpentine tensioner, rebuilt fuel filter resivor at 210k, oil changed every 5k with Rotella T, new high pressure fuel lines at 210k, changed the diff oil front and rear at 200k. A/C and heat work. Seats are in great shape, small hole in passenger seat is about the only issues. Carpets are in good shape, minor stains, no holes no bad smells. Paint is still glossy has scuffs and scratches as it is an 18 year old HD truck. I have taken great care of this rig as did the previous owner.
For the bad, the power door lock accuraters need replaced on three doors, can still manually lock, tail gate handle is broken, can still open tailgate, clock spring needs replaced for cruise control to work, has some cancer on the rear passenger wheel well. The truck will show an accident totaling it out. I was rear ended with my fifth wheel rv on the truck and it tore the hitch out of the bed. The truck bed was the only thing that was damaged in the accident but the cost to replace the bed, paint and labor the insurance company totaled it and I of course bough it back. I was issued a clean title for the truck but I don't want to hide anything about this, the truck is straight, has some minor flaws but what 18 year old truck does not. The bed has a dent across it from we're we' fifth wheel rail pushed it down from the accident, you can see it in the left side of the picture. That was the only damage done to it.
I am open to partial trades for a 1500, 150 series truck plus cash on your end to make up the difference. I do not want any projects, just a decent work truck that I can use to get around.
