Hopkins & Allen / Forehand “1901” Model Revolver — Serial F 2885 — Transitional F&W Grips — 6-Shot .32 (Long)
Antique pocket revolver: Hopkins & Allen production on a Forehand 1901 frame, serial F 2885 (F-prefix). 6-shot .32 S&W Long. Transitional piece with original F&W marked grips (older than the frame itself), which stands for Forehand and Wadsworth.
Wadsworth retired in the 1880s, and the company became then became Forehand Arms. Hopkins and Allen Bought Forhand out in the late 1800s, and didn’t waste any of the premade parts. Revolver is Circa 1902–1904, but the grips were likely 1880s. Timing seems to be perfect, and it appears to be in perfect mechanical
