It’s a bitter sweet day but the time has come to sell our beloved bunkhouse 5th wheel. We have lived in this rig for the past three years and have traveled much of the country. The only reason we are selling is because we bought a charter bus to convert into our new home! We have tens of thousands of dollars in upgrades in this rig to make it the ideal home, that said all of the upgrades make it an even better rig for weekend warriors as well. We are asking less than the blue book price ($42,000) dispite the significant amount of money invested in upgrades/safety features. Also taking offers.
This fifth wheel is a 2017 Jayco 325 BHQS. It has 4 slide outs 2 grey tanks (3 if you count the laundry room), a large black tank, (as a family of five it lasts us 2 weeks without a dump), a 75 gallon fresh tank. It has 4 slides, 2 are rack and pinion and 2 are schwintek.
Upgrades:
2510 watts of solar panels on the roof
Full Victron solar system
300ah of battleborn batteries (I have lots more available if you’re interested)
Washer and dryer in converted outdoor kitchen
Andersen hitch system
Morryde pin box
Lippert upgraded solid-steps
Lippert x-factor suspension crossmembers
Upgraded “5 leaf” leaf springs
G-rated tires with metal valve stems
3 stage water filtration system
Water softener
Upgraded porcelain Toilet
Thetford Macerator
Pepwave internet system
Wired for Starlink internet
Micro air easy start in both A/C units
Micro air easy touch thermostats for both A/C
Internally wired for 50 amp surge protector (keeps your surge protector from being stolen)
Rv lock keyless locks
Upgraded oven/stove
Residential fridge on its own inverter (runs off of batteries when traveling to stay cool)
Rec pro pull out couch sofa bed
Maxxfan deluxe in bathroom
I’m sure there are plenty that I’m forgetting
Overall she is in good condition. That said there are a few things that could use some attention, as there always are with campers 😂. If someone tells you differently, they aren’t telling you the whole truth. One of the slides needs to be put into manual mode when opening or closing. It just needs a new wire run to it, but it hasn’t bothered me enough to fix it because it opens and closes fine. 4 of the solar panels on the roof could be swapped out, and I will include the 4 panels needed. The panels still produce power, but they are a little down on their original power. Up to whoever buys it if they want the new panels or not. There are a few small odds and ends, but absolutely nothing major. Like I said earlier we have lived comfortably as a family of 5 in this rig for three years, and it’s been wonderful.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I’m an open book. I am able to deliver it if needed within a reasonable distance.
I am willing to entertain offers as well. Clean title in hand.
Will consider a partial trade for a dual sport or adventure motorcycle.
