It’s time to let my cool little Gheenoe go to a new home. Despite my best intentions and mighty plans, it hasn’t seen the water in 2 years.

The Good:
-very decent condition. Scratches and chips abound, and the finish is chaulky, but it’s in very fishable shape.
-excellent platform for a custom re-wamp (boy, did I have plans…) The transom is strong and the boat isn’t waterlogged.
-the outboard (when parked) ran strong. 15hp Johnson with electric start. Killer hole shot performance, and it tops out at 20mph with two adults and gear. I think a Jack plate and different prop might edge out a few more, but it never felt slow!
-Galvanized trailer pulls great. Super light towing. I’ve seen folks pull them behind a Carrolla!
-cable operated, bow mounted trolling motor pulls the boat beautifully hands free!
-simple bottom finder works great for this boat

The Bad:
-the gel is chaulky and chipped. Spiderweb cracking on the interior, but no soft spots or rot
-haven’t touched the motor in 2 years. Don’t really want to. Gas was drained out of it when it was parked, but I’d assume it’ll need the carbs cleaned, and maybe a gasket or two. I’ll monkey with it if I have to to get it sold, but I’m hoping not to!
-both the starting battery and the trolling battery are stone dead, and won’t take a charge. You can have the old ones for the core fee, if desired.
-I’d put new tires on the trailer, I’m sure they’ve got a flat spot. I also advise the wheel bearings get repacked and the preload set. I’ve seen trailer bearing failure on a single axle at highway speeds, and hope never to again!

I’ll throw in all the extra doo-dads and farkles I’d bought for it when I felt more ambitious: fuse blocks, plugs for trolling motor batteries, folding anchor, lines, new fuel line, etc
-most anything you’d need for a safety check, like a fire extinguisher or air horn, included.

I feel sick letting this thing go, but I haven’t been living up to the task of keeping her slimed up and happy. I surely wish I could manufacture some time to do all the customization I’d dreamed of. So come make an offer! I’m not looking for anything to trade, but feel free to try me. Just no more projects, please! Cash preferred.
