Have for sale or trade a March 1944 type 14 Nambu Captured during the Luzon/Mindano campaign by a Soldier of the 24th Inf Div.
Caliber is 8mm Nambu and trade will include at least .300 rds of good modern ammo and some spare brass. That is around $350.00 of ammo alone at 65.00 a box

Pistol is as captured with its original Clamshell holster w tools, spare mag and two spare firing pins one numbered to the gun, along with the original cleaning rag with strange brown stains that was in the holster pouch. The pistols Magazine is Matching number while the spare is not. I do not know if they were issued with two matching Magazines or not.
Holster inside flap has two vertical rows of Japanese Characters along with what I believe is the name and then home address of the original capturing soldier. I tried to show these in a picture, but they are too faded or faint to show up. I purchased it from the original soldier who had been 24th Inf Div during and after the war who had retired in Midway Ga near Fort Stewart Ga.
The Magazine grip spring is solid and intact with no cracks. The only blemish on the gun is the small Arc in the Frame caused by the Safety Lever being used.
I am just seeing what kind of interest this will bring in trade as I am in my 60's as it's not the type of Firearm my two boys have any interest in and neither of them care about the History around it. This weapon has a lot of Provenance to go with it.
