Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: $5,500.00
Trade Value or Items Looking For: Partial trade for 9mm firearms accepted
Caliber: AWESOME
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Have you ever/always wanted an Army Jeep? Here is your chance, plenty of rust (not very bad actually) and patina to make it "custom" and not too many out there to compare it to.
I currently live in a 55+ community so it is time for this to go, it has been in the family, stored in my Dads barn for 25 + years, MAYBE driven 100 miles a year. The brakes were reworked but kept period correct 5-6 years ago, new tune up and battery this week. Runs pretty good, no leaks (mechanic was floored) but definitely NOT to be used to take the family on vacation. (A/C is cold in Jan. Heat is hot in July) Top speed is slower than a moped, but in the past it would go anywhere (close), I know it is not for everybody, and sadly it is not for me anymore...
I have the passenger & backseat (not in all of the pictures) a gas can, and shovel, along with enough Army canvas to recover the seats.
The metal plates on the dash show that the jeep "saw war time" overseas...
Antiques do not need tag renewal think of the money you are going to save on that!
Thanks for looking, serious offers will be considered.
It will be going to a car lot "on consignment" soon.
