Item Description: This is a most unusual factory Winchester Model 70. It was produced as a Model 70 Carbine Short Action and is so marked on the barrel. It has a 20 inch barrel and a walnut stock. This rifle was only produced from 1984-87 and this one was made in 1984.
This rifle is a quick handling gun and comes with a 3X9 scope. Condition is 95+ with one small ding on the fore stock where it fell over in the closet. I can provide more pictures upon request.
I am selling this rifle for a friend in my church who has medical issues and can no longer hunt. We are asking $550.00 OBO for the rifle. For those of you that always ask about trades(and that includes me), I will consider handguns or lever guns that are reasonably priced as I will have to buy the trade to pay my friend the full sales amount.
