These were hand fitted in the same factory
by the same skilled artisans and Smith's
putting the Merkel SxS's together.
They are identical to Merkel except for the Simpson name
which was used for export from Germany
mostly to England
Just the right amount of hand engraving and hand
checkering on this walnut straight grip stock
with Splinter forend
made in Suhl Germany
