Item Description: Listing up my Smith and Wesson Model 60 for cash / trade. It has a 3" barrel and has never been fired (those that know me here can vouch for this). Basically I acquired this revolver, purchased two pairs of Altamont Co. Grips for it and put it in the safe.
Basically I was trying to build a Pro Series more to my liking. Frankly slab sided barrels have never appealed to me (as with the Pro Series 3") and in this case I prefer the real Stainless rather than the matte stainless (again with the Pro Series). The full length under-lug speaks for itself as well.
(Altamont manufacturers wood grips of all sorts for Smith and Wesson including ones for their higher end lines ex: Pro Series, etc..) After a long search I also was able to locate a Desantis Holster for it (all for this model were on backorder) which has all the bells and whistles on it (suede lined, basket weave, thumb break, etc.).
I will sell the Model 60 just the way it came from the factory (box, doc's, and Black Rubber Grip) for $550. If you want to save yourself the hassle of locating a holster (I paid <$90 for this one) and like the Altai grips (like many reviewers do - Smith included) I'll sell it as a package (the holster and one set of Altai's) for $650.
I have also listed a S&W 686 Plus Talo Deluxe (w/ a 3" Barrel up as well). I can't make up my mind on which one is to go so I'm hoping this will help.
I was listing to pay some medical bills however some trades will be considered. I am very limited as to how far I can travel. The meeting must occur face to face.
