As a history nerd myself, I’ve appreciated these tools in so many ways. But feelings aside I’m debating about making room in the gun safe for new toys. So if you’re a big nerd like me, you’ll at least enjoy seeing these babies. More interested in selling but ask away about trades
Disclaimer: I have no need to sell these babies so no thank you to lowballs. Also I can send more pics to serious offers.
1) Egyptian Hakim: based on the numerals on the receiver I believe this thing was manufactured in 1965. Semi auto 8mm Mauser with an adjustable gas block. It’s a clone of a Swedish WWII rifle who in turn was a clone of a Soviet semi auto rifle. She’s a big girl but fun. Action is smooth and bore is great. Stock does have some damage to the forend. $1100 obo
2) 1903. An original Rock Island Arsenal (not Armory) in 30-06. Not a fan of sporterized Milsurps but this one is a beauty. High gloss finish on barrel and receiver. Rear appiture sights are amazing. Action is smooth as butter and bore is great. Wood stock is in great condition $700 obo
3) Vetterli. Should be circa 1870s-1880s. It’s been sporterized to some kind of .49 smooth bore along with the stock being cut down. So definitely an anomaly. Action works though. Just make me a serious and reasonable offer on this one.
4) Turkish Mauser. Should be a factory refurbished (in Ankara 1936 so the gun is older). 8mm Mauser. She shoots great. Action and bore are good. She’s a big girl too. $450 obo
