Date of manufacture? Are you saying this is a WWII era pistol?
It's a modern 1911. It's made to look like a WW2 era 1911, same markings parkerizing etc... Kind of a working replica. Great looking gun though wish I had the cash GLWS!

Like Avid said, Auto-Ordnance made a replica 1911, with the same markings, finish, etc., of a WW2 1911. The only difference is that it says Auto-Ordnance on it.
