Item has been relisted, you can find the new listing at: https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/fs-marlin-1895-45-70-jm-stamp.1845377/
Item Name: FS Marlin 1895 45/70 JM stamp
Location: Social Circle
Zip Code: 30025
Item is for: Sale Only - trade interest added
Sale Price: 600
Caliber: .45/70
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: Manufacture in 1974. Re-blued and stock refinished by Randy Henson of Acworth in 2016. An error was made when replacing the Marlin bullseye but it has been fixed. There is a gouge in the top of the receiver that could not be repaired prior to re-bluing, it and the couple of character marks in the forearm tell this gun’s history. All these are seen in the pictures. The action and trigger are uncharacteristically crisp and smooth.
I would be interested in trading this rifle towards the following plus cash to equal $600 (or close to it):
Ruger LCRX .38 3” barrel,
S&W 360 or 360 PD, or
Ruger American .22 lr with threaded barrel.
OR a JM stamped Marlin 1894 .44 mag straight up.
I'm willing to meet within a reasonable distance. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about this functioning piece of Marlin history.
