Zip Code: 30907
Item is for: Sale Only
Sale Price: 1,200
Caliber: 30-30
Willing to Ship: No
Bill of Sale Required?: No
Item Description: I'm not exactly sure what I have here, so if you can help I would appreciate it. This rifle is a 336 model Marlin, 30-30 rifle w/straight stock, Octagon barrel and a 1972 serial number. Almost everything I read is that Marlin made this rifle to celebrate 100 years in business in 1970. Well, my serial number is 1972, not 1970. In trying to research this rifle, I also read somewhere that Marlin had a few (maybe 400) 1970 barrels left over and that they put these on 1972 receivers making it a very rare Marlin.
