I have two of these, selling one to raise funds. Still brand new and never used. These don't have the nylon smell that the TCOP tents have, and I would be willing to bet they will last longer and were stored better. These are directly from ORC Industries and most TCOP are surplus stored who knows where. These are basically a TCOP tent with only one awning and are still considered a 4-season tent if I recall correctly. Yes, one side will get more wind but like any shelter setup, just point the opening side away from the wind. The size of the back zippered entrance is also a bit different than the TCOP. These go for $385 on their site, which is what I paid. I may be wrong but I have never seen one on sale. But, I'm letting it go for $300 so if anyone has wanted one and would like a discount, here ya go. Link and pics of it setup from ORC below.
