The S&W Model 12 was a 38 Special revolver on Smith and Wesson's K-frame. It is a aluminum alloy-frame version of the Model 10. It was made from 1953-1986. My example is born in 1970 and comes with a 2" Barrel in PINTO Blue/Nickel configuration. The grips number to the gun as well. It also comes with the original box and a Smith and Wesson Factory Letter signifying it was 1 of 2 shipped in this configuration from the S&W Factory. The revolver is in excellent condition save for a scratch on the left side of frame as seen in pics. First one I have ever seen on ODT!
